Brazil's Supreme Court suspended the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) across the country for the lack of a legal representative. Conflict began when Elon Musk refused to comply with orders to block accounts for spreading fake news, some known to be politically related. Musk closed all operations in Brazil — which requires the conflict to continue under international law— after threats of employees arrest and in response, X was shutdown and Starlink's financial assets were frozen to cover $3.28 million in unpaid fines. This Monday (02), supreme court unanimously voted to uphold the ban, while they may step back from ban in another vote with full court.
